Alumni News: Ana Divito '13 Wins Top Multimedia Arts Contest
Posted on 05/03/2017
Ana '13 is a graduate of Saint A's, and will soon graduate '17 from Loyola Academy. She recently won the top prize in the Catholic Campaign for Human Development’s 2016 Multimedia Arts Contest.

Ana's piece “Neighbors” shows four detailed charcoal drawings of faces, with accompanying text that tells the story behind each face. Through it, Ana sends a message of what she believes is the catalyst of poverty – indifference.

Her intimate stories and drawings are meant to instill sympathy and affection in any viewer. As viewers become engaged, the message of responsibility conveyed is that we have to take care of others less fortunate in our world.

We are proud of how Ana has chosen to use her exceptional skills to send an important message to others, and to do her part to make a positive difference in our world. Congrats Ana!
